The Florida Film Institute, Inc. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Thank you for enrolling in the educational programs at the Florida Film Institute. Because registration reserves a finite student seat, our cancellations and refunds are strictly governed by the chronological tiers outlined below.
Right of Cancellation and Refund Windows
Refunds for voluntary student withdrawals are calculated relative to the scheduled start date of the class:
- Cancellation 14 Days or More Prior to Commencement: Eligible for a 100% refund of the paid tuition fee.
- Cancellation 7 to 13 Days Prior to Commencement: Eligible for a 50% refund of the paid tuition fee.
- Cancellation Less Than 7 Days Prior to Commencement: No refunds or credits will be issued under any circumstances.
Digital Goods and Immediate Access Exception
For any course modules or educational classes that grant immediate access to downloadable assets, streaming video archives, or pre-recorded digital content upon checkout, all sales are final and non-refundable once the digital assets have been accessed or downloaded.
Missed Sessions and Partial Attendance
No pro-rated refunds, partial credits, or makeup accommodations will be issued for individual classes missed due to personal scheduling conflicts, illness, travel, or technical issues on the student’s end.
Course Cancellations by Administration
If an entire course is canceled by the administration without a rescheduled option, a 100% refund will be issued automatically to all registered students.
Processing of Refunds and Fees
All authorized refunds are processed through WooCommerce back to the original PayPal account or credit card used during the initial purchase. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for banking networks to reflect the credit. To ensure compliance with payment network rules, transaction fees assessed by PayPal during the initial purchase may be deducted from the total refund amount where permitted by local law.
